Tea party

Last night was the tea party at my church and it was phenomenal!!! The Holy Spirit was such a sweet presence. He came & saturated my soul with His love. I think many of the women there felt the same way. At least I pray they experienced it that way :) can not WAIT until the next one in July!!! Blessings & Happy Saturday everyone!!!
Ps. I won a door prize :) and I used it today for tea and I love it!!!!

One Word 2012....More like 3 Words...

Well I have never really like 'New Years Resolutions' but in the last few years I head people talking about One Word and I thought it was cool but didn't really think it applied to me. Until the end of 2011. I had struggled with praying consistently and struggled with eating well and feeling really bad in general, just like I wasn't worthy of God's Love(lies, all lies)

As I began to seek & pray asking God what this year held for me He began to show me that my health was important. (Esp if I am gonna keep up with all my kids!) And that I need to have hope in all things good and lovely. Also healing from past hurts. Hurts from my childhood and my dad. That is still a tender subject for me but I really believe that this year will be the year of COMPLETE healing! I want this-I need this! So there are really three words:

HOPE-HEALTH-HEALING

On New Years Eve God was speaking to my heart about fasting and praying. This is still a new concept to me but I am very open to it. It's not as hard as I thought it would be and I felt amazing after!!!

I know that 2012 has big things in store for our family and I am waiting on the Lord and His perfect timing! He loves me and knows what is best for me.

Our church has been having a week of prayer and I went one morning(SO not a morning person anymore) and a few evenings and 2 more nights to go. It's a great time to pray for the country, church, school, family and anything else! :)

To The Farm!

Last year sometime I heard about a farm in our area that raises animals the 'old fashion' way. You know, in a pasture with grass to eat and room to move about. I thought it was awesome! This last Saturday we went there to visit and purchase some meat. We really don't eat that much because of the way its commercially grown and how costly it can be! It was the best day! We talked and realized we knew many of the same people and wondered why we didn't meet them before. I love how this family does what they do for the love of grass-fed meats and a simpler life! It makes our dream of one day owning a hobby farm so much more real to us. The kids loved it too! We took a tour of the farm and got to see pigs(heritage breed), cows and chickens. They have plenty of barn cats a couple dogs too. Here are some pictures!
