Date Night

Just to let ya know we had our first date night in a very long time and it was a success! 

My thoughtful husband actually planned it out way in advance and let on like it was a last minute thing.

 I was surprised and I LOVED IT!!!

Everyday I love him more & more...

Thankful that we were meant to be together :)

Month of Love

Well this Fiday marks our 12 year Annivesary. I Love this month because it just marks it a month of Love. Some people say " OH...Valentines Day AND an anniversary...Wow that's gotta be an expensive month!" But not really because we don't always buy gifts. We show each other how we love in our day to day lives. Some years there are gift other years a nice dinner at home with the kids, and some years we go out just the two of us. I like it that way because I have learned that God is the ultimate Gift giver.(Plus it would be really boring to do the same thing every year!) I used to get hung up on that stuff, because that is what the world say "BUY BUY BUY!!!!"  Love does not mean a lot of STUFF. Love means this to us : 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and the Bible says that we Love because He first Loved US :) That brings my marriage peace and hope and LOVE!

The winter is long and right SMACK dab in the middle is the month of love! A celebration of who God gave to me and how He restored our marriage! Love is a wonderful thing ...It can restore, build, uplift, encourage and so  much more than you ever can imagine!

Simply Put

Simply put God knows what he is doing by who He puts in our lives. Timing is everything too.

 I sometimes forget these things and ever so gently He reminds me through circumstance and events that take place in my life. He tells me to be thankful for my friends...&&& I am so THANKFUL for my friends.

 I had few friends and now He has blessed me with MANY friends.

 He tells me that my church family is SO IMPORTANT to me... they are more valuable than gold!!!

I value Christian Fellowship more and more as I see how my  friends support me with love. They are not judgmental but encourage me to grow in all areas of my walk with Jesus. I am brought to tears as I think of how they support and love me. 

The thing most amazing to me about God is He knows what we need before we do and the way He constantly works on us. As many times as He has shown me that, I will never be any less amazed.

Proverbs 3:6

Remember the Lord in all you do, and he will give you success. :)

this is what i am meditating on for today-having success in the Lord so i can give him all the glory! He wants us to have success thru him.

Snow Day

Today was a SNOW DAY!!! How I love a good snow day :) Also my love is home from work sick to his tummy so lots of down time with my family is a good thing!

Yesterday I made my own laundry soap, hoping to save money and add scents that are good for our family. I absolutely love the way the clothes smell! This batch I used tea tree oil and it is just a hint of it. Oh SO divine :)
