Easter

I love Easter! It is the time where we really celebrate Christ dieing on the cross for our sins and giving us His Spirit and really so much more! And also a time of candy and dyed eggs. I like the dyed eggs because it symbolizes new beginnings. We have candy, preferably chocolate, and eggs and we worship at our church. We then have a Easter meal. This year I decided that next year we will be adding some new traditions that will be based on what Jesus went through. And so I can explain to my little one about the empty tomb. You can read about it HERE!
             Ready to go!

                            Human video and sermon :)
Our brightly colored eggs! Some of them we did with shaved crayons...read about that here!

Week 14

Today was a good lazy day at home with everyone I love. I am in my second trimester now and you think the nausea and stuff will be a thing of the past, well, no. I am just feeling like no food sounds good and I eat really small portions and still feel ill. If I go to long then I feel ill and like I will vomit(TMI?) sorry... I am taking my prenatal vitamins. I just feel different with this baby  and I know they are all different but I don't know...maybe it's just me...

Life verse

Over the last few years I  have heard a lot about life verses for babies/children and began to think about choosing a life verse for my own kids or attempting to find something on the web about their name and having a hard time. So I picked one out for my youngest daughter. Her name is Mackenzi and I hope that in her life she finds out how MUCH Jesus really loves her so here is the verse I choose for her.

And it says     “When I think of the wisdom and scope of God’s plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.
I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will give you mighty inner strength through His Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love.
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is.
May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
~ Ephesians 3:14-19 (NLT)
Her name also means 'child of the wise leader' and I follow Christ and I want that for her too :)

Re-Shaped

The Lord is in constant motion shaping, stretching and molding me to His idea of what I need to be.
I am so thankful for His consistent touch in my life.
His love is so powerful, from saving me from my self destructive behavior in 2004 to helping me be the women I need to be.
I Love Him for that and Love the idea of being re-invented thou
 HIM!

Open Arms

So when 2011 came around I just felt like it was going to be an awesome year of big things.
Things that have happened already confirmed this is my heart and I am welcoming it all with open arms.
This last Saturday I attended a mini-conference called Restore. It blessed my heart and soul so much. There was a tremendous amount of healing that happened. The main speaker was Grace Johnson and the way she poured the Love of God out to all the women there was AMAZING! She was an ordinary women with an extraordinary story of how God loves us SO MUCH. She has the anointing of the Lord!
There was truth, love, encouragement, and peace within my heart as the day went on.
Words can not describe what was done and I know it was for God's Glory and yet it blessed me as well.
GOD IS SO GOOD!

Also wanted to just say that we are going to be expecting our fourth child in the fall!
 WE ARE SO EXCITED!
The kids are soooo happy!
James is ready to be daddy of 4
I LOVE babies!(Especially my babies! ;)
So that would be more big news for 2011 :)

I was surprised and I LOVED IT!!!
Everyday I love him more & more...
Thankful that we were meant to be together :)
