Easter

I love Easter! It is the time where we really celebrate Christ dieing on the cross for our sins and giving us His Spirit and really so much more! And also a time of candy and dyed eggs. I like the dyed eggs because it symbolizes new beginnings. We have candy, preferably chocolate, and eggs and we worship at our church. We then have a Easter meal. This year I decided that next year we will be adding some new traditions that will be based on what Jesus went through. And so I can explain to my little one about the empty tomb. You can read about it HERE!
             Ready to go!

                            Human video and sermon :)
Our brightly colored eggs! Some of them we did with shaved crayons...read about that here!

Week 14

Today was a good lazy day at home with everyone I love. I am in my second trimester now and you think the nausea and stuff will be a thing of the past, well, no. I am just feeling like no food sounds good and I eat really small portions and still feel ill. If I go to long then I feel ill and like I will vomit(TMI?) sorry... I am taking my prenatal vitamins. I just feel different with this baby  and I know they are all different but I don't know...maybe it's just me...

Life verse

Over the last few years I  have heard a lot about life verses for babies/children and began to think about choosing a life verse for my own kids or attempting to find something on the web about their name and having a hard time. So I picked one out for my youngest daughter. Her name is Mackenzi and I hope that in her life she finds out how MUCH Jesus really loves her so here is the verse I choose for her.

And it says     “When I think of the wisdom and scope of God’s plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.
I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will give you mighty inner strength through His Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love.
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is.
May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
~ Ephesians 3:14-19 (NLT)
Her name also means 'child of the wise leader' and I follow Christ and I want that for her too :)
